CHARACTER INFO The boy named Amakusa Shirou Tokisada was undeniably the leader of the Shimabara Rebellion (though under the instruction of multiple ronins). But how was his talent found, exactly? Much of his life is shrouded in mystery. BOND 1 Height: 169cm Weight: 59kg Origin: History Region: Japan Alignment: Lawful Good Gender: Male He's not officially recognized as a saint. BOND 2 A young boy who led the Shimabara Rebellion during the early days of the Edo period. From a young age he was a dutiful student, who one day began to perform various miracles. He healed wounds, walked on water, and was soon worshipped by peasants who followed the forbidden religion as a child of God. BOND 3 He lead the ancient retainers of daimyo Konishi Yukinaga in a rebellion against the Edo Shogunate, which caused a full-scale rebellion to break out among the suffering peasantry of Shimabara. At first, the shogunate underestimated the rebellion, but after their first expeditionary force was defeated, they sent a larger force lead by Matsudaira Nobustuna. BOND 4 Matsudaira besieged the rebellion's stronghold of Hara castle, and launched a full scale attack when he judged that their provisions and ammunition had run out. Except for a lone traitor, it's said that all 37,000 people who participated in the rebellion, including Amakusa Shirou Tokisada himself, were slain by the shogunate forces. (Some, however, disagree.) BOND 5 [Twin Arm - Big Crunch] Rank:A+ NP Type:Anti-Army Range:1-200 Maximum Targets:500 First he connects both his arms to leylines, and causes them to go out of control by overloading the magical circuits with excessive magical energy. In doing so, he creates pseudo-dark matter, a Noble Phantasm of massive destruction. Because the activation requires so much magical energy, it is almost impossible to be utilized as a Noble Phantasm under normal conditions. The only way for the Noble Phantasm to be fully functional, is for a different source of magical energy other than the Master to be established. Clear Interlude: Let's Talk About Saving the World His stats may be average, but during the Third Holy Grail War in Fuyuki, there were records of him being summoned as a Ruler class Servant. Due to his strategy of utilizing Command Spells gained from Divine Judgement, and attacking enemies weaknesses using True Name Revelation, he was one step away from grasping the Holy Grail. However, he was defeated with his Master's death. That's where his dream began. He, who concentrated on his studies since childhood, began to perform many miracles at the frontier for a time. Having healed wounds and walked on water, he eventually began to be enthusiastically worshiped as the son of God by the peasants that believed in a prohibited religion. BOND 3 Before long, former-vassals of Konishi Yukinaga that had him as leader established a rebel army against the Edo Shogunate. Together with the peasants of Shimabara, who were suffering from the harsh environment of the times, they raised a large-scale insurrection. Despite taking the uprising lightly at first, the Edo Shogunate got serious due to its punitive forces being defeated and sent out Elder Matsudaira Nobutsuna as the supreme commander. BOND 4 Matsudaira Nobutsuna brought on starvation tactics to the revolting army that had shut themselves in Hara Castle, and estimated the time when they were running out of food and ammunition to start his general offensive. It has been told that 37,000 people - including Amakusa Shirou Tokisada - were massacred by the shogunate forces, with the exception of a single betrayer (there are various theories about this). BOND 5 Dual Arm Zero-Order Convergence Rank: A+ Type: Anti-Army Range: 1~200 Maximum number of targets: 500 people Twin Arm - Big Crunch. By connecting both arms to the leylines, excessive magical energy is inserted in the magic circuits of both arms and made to rampage. A destruction-type Noble Phantasm that refines pseudo-black matter and swallows all beings on the surroundings. Because it requires an excessively vast magical energy, originally it is impossible to employ it as a Noble Phantasm. In order to completely impel it as Noble Phantasm, he must first somehow establish a magic energy supply route different from his Master. Clear Let's Talk about World's Salvation Although mediocre in parameters itself, he holds the record of being summoned under the Ruler Class during the Third Holy Grail War of Fuyuki. Thanks to the function of Command Spell enforcement from God's Resolution and a strategy of poking at weaknesses by means of True Name Discernment, he reached up to one step away of attaining the Holy Grail, but was ultimately defeated due to the death of his Master. Amakusa Shirou's dream began from that point on.

Trivia

• He is the first Servant to have two Extra attack animations. Ending a Brave Chain with a card that leaves Amakusa in close range will give the animation that does 4 hits, and ending it with a card that leaves him in long range will give the animation that does 6 hits. The long range Extra attack generates more stars and NP gauge than the close range one.
