CHARACTER INFO
The Fuuma Clan, named after the village "Kazama," goes about their daily lives hunting, logging, and farming.
But when it is time for a mission, they are feared as Fuuma, the Evil Wind.
Fuuma Kotarou is the fifth leader of the clan, serving Ujitsuna, successor of Hojo Soun.

There are some discrepancies from his descriptions in "Hojo Godaiki."
BOND 2
Unlike the Iga and Koga, those quintessential Japanese ninja, few literary references of the Fuuma exist. The death of their lord, Hojo Soun, serves as a major reason. No one even knows the type of weapons Fuuma specialized in.
BOND 3
The same is true of their origins; it is unclear what series of events led to them settling in Kazama Valley. One theory proposes that they are descendants of horseback tribes from the mainland.
The Fuuma never revealed their origins. In any event, they were feared by all due to their ferocious group tactics. And their leader was Fuuma Kotarou.

Instead of calling this Fuuma Kotarou's Noble Phantasm, this is more like the Noble Phantasm of the Fuuma Ninja.
Summons the spirits of 200 Fuuma Ninja, turns the area surrounding the enemy into pure darkness, and then knocks them down straight to Hell. This is based off the tale of Kotarou leading 200 ninja into the Takeda base, killing injured soldiers and burning all their rations. Due to the continuous ambushes, the Takeda soldiers had no choice but to retreat.
BOND 5
Foreign blood flows in Kotarou's veins, as does the blood of oni. Due to the Fuuma Clan's breeding programs, the ultimate ninja who can survive the harsh conditions of the Warring States was born.
He was born to chief, a ninja, and someone who would lead the Fuuma Clan to its prime.
...However, Kotarou is kind and gentle by nature. Although, his body is that of an ultimate ninja, his personality is not fit to be one. It is said he spent most of his time in his own room.

風魔一族。本来の名を村の名から「風間」と言い、普段は狩猟や樵きこり、狭い田畑を耕して糧を得ていた。
だがいざ任務となると「風魔」と称し、その恐ろしさを天下に知らしめた。
風魔小太郎は第五代頭目であり、北条早雲の後継者氏綱に仕えた。

風魔たちは自分たちの出自を決して明かすことはなかった。ともかく彼らは凄まじいまでの集団戦法により、あらゆる人間から恐れられた。そしてその頭目にあたるのが風魔小太郎であった。

北条側に雇われた五代目風魔小太郎は乱波二百人と共に武田軍の陣地へと潜入、手当たり次第に傷兵を殺害、閧の声をあげながらあちこちに火を投げ入れて武器食料を略奪した。連日連夜続けられる夜襲に、武田軍は撤退を余儀なくされた。

風魔小太郎は異人の血を引いており、同時に鬼種の血も混じっている。風魔の頭目として一族が徹底的な配合操作を行い、戦国乱世を生き延びるために最高傑作の「忍」として生誕した。
生まれながらの頭目であり、忍であり、ここに風魔一党は一つの頂点を迎えることになる。
……が。肝心の小太郎、その性根慈悲深く、また思慮深く、肉体は忍として頂点にあれど精神は忍に向かず、部屋に閉じこもりがちな日々を送ったという。

Rather than Fuuma Koutarou's Noble Phantasm, it is more appropriate to call it the Noble Phantasm of the Fuuma Ninja Corps. It summons his 200 subordinates as spiritual bodies. Automatically turns the surroundings of the enemy group into darkness and throw them into a hell of agonizing cries. Together with 200 thugs, the Fifth Fuuma Koutarou that was employed by the Houjou infiltrated into the encampment of the Takeda army and indiscriminately murdered wounded soldiers, plundered weapons and provisions, and dumped fire here and there while raising war cries. Those night raids that continued every day and night forced the Takeda army into retreat.

Fuuma Koutarou is descended from foreigners and, at the same time, also has the blood of the oni kind mixed in his veins. For the sake of surviving that turbulent war period, the clan performed a thorough match manipulation and gave birth to him as the greatest masterpiece of "shinobi" - the leader of the Fuuma. An inborn chief and shinobi, the Fuuma party would thus welcome one summit. ...but. The crucial Koutarou had a nature that was both compassionate and discreet; thus it was said that, while his body was a summit as a shinobi, his mentality was not fit for a shinobi and he spent his days secluded in his room.
