CHARACTER INFO
The protagonist of the Ramayana, one of the great Indian epics. Ravana was a rakshasa who was capable of commanding the gods themselves. He tricked the creator god into making it so that he could only be killed by humans, not gods or spirits.
Granting the appeals of the gods Vishnu reincarnated as a mortal, but in the process he forgot everything about his godhood.
He was reborn as Prince Rama.

BOND 2
Rama was born a wise ruler, but a plot by his relatives stripped him of his claim to the throne and drove him from his homeland.
His beloved wife Sita, who traveled with him, was stolen by the rakshasa Ravana, and Rama devoted himself to getting her back.
Rama was given many weapons by many gurus, and for 14 years he traveled with an army of monkeys, led by the famous Hanuman, as he battled Ravana and his armies.
BOND 3
But even someone as great as Rama, made one fatal mistake.
He intervened in a battle between the monkeys, siding with Sugriva and ambushing the monkey Vali.
Vali's wife then put a curse on Rama.
"Even if you get your wife back, you will never share joy together."
...This curse still binds him.
BOND 4
He acts a bit arrogantly towards his Master. Which makes him seem like a bratty kid.
Perhaps it's because of his unique circumstances as a Servant, since he has the wisdom of an old man, but not the mental age of one.
Kind to his men and to animals, he's a bit harsher around Servants who were famous tyrants.

The Rakshasa-Piercing Immortal.
An indestructible blade that he's carried since birth in order to defeat the rakshasa Ravana.
It is incredibly powerful against demonic enemies.
Originally an arrow, it was intended to be fired from a bow, but Rama wanted to be a Saber so he turned it into a sword.
However, it maintains its capabilities as a throwing weapon, and this sword can be thrown at his foes.
It's not a good idea to point out this discrepancy.
Clear Interlude:
His wish for the Holy Grail is 「a reunion with Sita」. He already died and became a Heroic Spirit, yet the effects of curse that keeps binding him has not grown dim. And that curse will continue on so long the two continue to love one another. One could say that such curse is, at the same time, a proof of their love. The reason why Rama is summoned as a young boy is because, just like it was alluded in the main scenario, the period when he fought in search of Sita is indeed his golden age.

インドにおける二大叙事詩の一つ、「ラーマーヤナ」の主人公。
大神を騙して獲得した力により、神々すら使役するラーヴァナは唯一人間にのみ倒す資格があると謳われる魔王であった。
神々の訴えを聞き届けたヴィシュヌは全てを忘れたただの人間、とある国の皇子として転生した。
それこそがラーマである。

聖人から様々な武器を授けられているラーマは、高名なハヌマーンを始めとする猿の軍勢と共に十四年もの間、魔王ラーヴァナと彼が率いる軍を相手に戦い続けたのである。
BOND 3
そんなラーマも唯一、致命的な失策を犯したことがある。
猿同士の戦いに介入し、味方の猿スグリーバを救うために敵対していた猿バーリを卑怯にも騙し討ちにしたのだ。それを許せぬ、とバーリの妻はラーマに呪いを掛けた。
“貴方はたとえ后を取り戻すことができても、共に喜びを分かち合えることはない”
……この呪いは、今もなお彼を縛り付けている。
BOND 4
マスターに対しては、基本的にやや尊大な振る舞いをする。
そのせいで生意気な小僧、という印象を受けるかもしれない。
知識は老年並みなのに精神がそれに追いつかない、というサーヴァント独特の事情が彼にそのような態度を取らせてしまうのだろう。
部下や動物たちには優しいが、暴君として名を馳せたサーヴァントに対してはやや態度が頑なになる。

『羅刹を穿つ不滅』

ブラフマーストラ。
魔王ラーヴァナを倒すために、生まれたときから身につけていた「不滅の刃」。
魔性の存在を相手に絶大な威力を誇る。
本来は矢であり、弓に番えて射つものであるがセイバーになりたかったラーマが無理矢理剣に改造した。
ただし投擲武器としての性能は捨てておらず、この剣もブン投げる。
「結局投げるんじゃねえか」と指摘してはいけない。

聖杯への願望は「シータとの再会」。
死して英霊となってもなお、彼らの身を縛り続ける呪いは、効果が薄れることはない。
そしてこの呪いは互いが互いを愛する限り続く。呪いは同時に愛の証明である、とも言える。
ラーマが少年として召喚されるのは、第五特異点でも言及された通り、シータを求めて戦った時代こそを全盛期とするため。

Together with an army of monkeys that included the famous Hanuman, Rama - who was bestowed with many weapons by a sage - continued to fight against the demon lord Ravana and his army for over 14 years.
BOND 3
And even such Rama had once committed a fatal blunder. Upon intervening into a fight among monkeys, in order to save his ally monkey Sugriva, he performed a coward sneak attack upon the enemy monkey Vali. Unable to forgive that, Vali's wife placed a curse upon Rama.
“Even if you take back your empress, you'll never be able to share joy with her again.”
...such curse is binding him even now.
BOND 4
In regards to the Master, he fundamentally takes a somewhat haughty behavior. Due to that, he might give off the impression of an impertinent brat. Even though he is like your average elder in terms of knowledge, his mentality simply does not catch up with it - such peculiar circumstances as a Servant are probably making him have such attitude. Although gentle towards animals and his subordinates, his attitude becomes quite obstinate towards Servants that are widely-known tyrants.

The 「indestructible blade」 that he was born with in order to defeat the Demon Lord Ravana. It boasts tremendous power against demonic existences. Originally an arrow; something to be fired from a bow, but Rama - who wanted to become a Saber - forcibly remodeled it. However, the function as a thrown weapon has not been discarded and this sword can also be violently thrown. One must not point out 「so you throw it after all」.
