It's not really clear whether THAT actually existed in the Heian period. Perhaps it was only a rumor that spread among oni living in the shadows of the modern world. Whatever the case, she won't shut up about it...the legend of the Magifender oni.
The heroes who save the world of man become Heroic Spirits, while those who save the world of oni become Magifenders. Preach to oni, denounce oni, and kill oni... This is the way of the oni Magifender, and the only way to truly save all oni.

Shuten-Douji with a different Spirit Origin. This really isn't meant to be a disguise, but somehow very few people actually realize it's her.

Initially, she intended this to be a costume or disguise, but ever since she caught that little beast Haku in the Chitose region, it seems her entire Spirit Origin has (temporarily) changed. She's even adopted more heroic mannerisms, but make no mistake, she is merely playing the part of someone who saves oni by killing other oni.

Oni Magifender, Heart-Crushing Killer.
With her class changed, her Noble Phantasm meant to rip her victim's bones out, "Bone Collector (One Hundred Furiously Blossoming Flowers - Wo Ai Ni), has become a skill. It is a terrifying skill in which she thrusts her hand into her target's chest if they fail a resistance save, and then mercilessly crushes the heart and other vital organs.
It's a Magifender Girl ability that was bestowed upon her to let her control oni... At least that's supposed to be the official line. When a dubious member of Chaldea's staff pointed out that any living thing would shut right up when someone crushes its heart, Shuten-Douji just giggled and said not a word.

Oni Magifender, Killer Bludgeoning Stick.
"Those princesses in that 'tee-vee' box all swing those stick things around. They're all glowy and stuff. I want one."

...This is apparently the sort of stuff Shuten and her familiar, Haku, talked about.

A vicious pummeling attack carried out by relying on her tough physique and the natural strength that comes with being with an oni, all combined with her innate flexibility and cruelty. She begins with rapid punches and kicks that happen so quickly she might be thought to be teleporting around. While she may not have a long reach, evading her is all but impossible. Even the protection afforded by Divinity is sure to be useless against such a savage attack. Her target is all but certain to die on the spot.
After the flurry of blows ceases, she may then launch the same poisonous alcohol-filled gourd from her Noble Phantasm, "Multicolored Poison - Shinpen Kidoku." According to Shuten, she just does that for fun, though, so this particular Noble Phantasm is more a combination of furious blows.
Clear Unlock after clearing The Land of Mystique, Oniland! and reach Bond Level 5
Inside, she is no different from her usual self, but...she consciously tries not to break character from the Magifender Girl image that Ibaraki clings to...at least as much as possible...
It's probably more accurate to say that she continues to play along because she feels like she's performing a sacred Shinto dance, Kagura, and she's enjoying herself. It seems like she plans to remain in this form until it bores her.
Oh, also her familiar, Haku, was in actuality an evil dragon that appeared in The Kamuy's Gold... The Haku we see now though is one that Shuten molded after the image of the original with her own magical energy. She says he doesn't talk, but there may or may not be reports of Haku talking to himself when she's not around.

最初はただの変装・仮装のつもりだったが、千歳周辺でつかまえた小さな魔獣「ハク」と同行するようになって以来、霊基ごと（一時的に）変化してしまった模様。
その在り方はまるでヒーローのようではあるが、間違えてはいけない。
あくまで彼女が演じるのは『鬼を諭し、鬼を殺し、それにより鬼を救う』モノである。

ハートブレイク。
クラス変更に伴い、対象の骨を抜き取る宝具『百花繚乱・我愛称（ボーンコレクター）』がスキルへと変化したもの。
抵抗判定に失敗した対象の体内に手を突き入れて、心臓をはじめとする重要器官を容赦なく握り潰す、恐るべき絶技。
鬼を制すために付与された護法少女の能力……という触れ込みだが、心臓を潰されれば大抵の生物は沈黙するのではないだろうか。そう訝しむカルデア職員の質問に、酒呑童子はころころと笑うだけで何も答えなかったという。

「てれびとかいう箱ん中のお姫様は、あれやなあ。なんやけったいな棒きれ振り回してたやないの、きらきら～って。あれ、うちも欲しいわぁ」

という会話が使い魔ハクとの間にあったとか。

鬼種としての強靭な体躯と運動性能、生来のしなやかさと残虐性、それらを併せることで繰り出される、変幻自在の乱打。
具体的には、瞬間移動と見紛う超高速移動を経てからの殴る蹴る。
射程距離は短いが、回避はほぼ不可能。神性の加護でさえ打ち破って殴りつける。
大概の相手はここで死亡する。
殴りに殴った後、大ヒョウタンから宝具『千紫万紅・神便鬼毒』で用いるものと同じ毒酒を撃ち込んだりもするが―――これは酒呑としては「ついで」「景気づけ」であり、攻撃の主体はあくまで乱打である。

内面は普段と完全に同一ではあるが―――
茨木童子の夢見る「護法少女」像をなるべく壊すまいと一応は気を付けている……模様……？
なんや神楽舞っとるみたいで楽しおすなぁ、と気分がよくなっているので続けていると表現した方が正確かもしれない。
とりあえず、飽きるまではこの装いのままで過ごすつもりのようだ。
なお、使い魔「ハク」の正体は『カムイの黄金』から発生した悪竜だったが……
現在の「ハク」は、かつてのハクとそっくりに酒呑が自分の魔力を割いて組み上げた使い魔である。
ハク、喋らへんのよねぇ―――
と酒呑は言っているものの、誰もいないところで何か喋ってる、との証言があるとかないとか。

To admonish, chastise and kill the oni――― those who manage to save all oni by those means are the Oni of Dharmapala.

A figure Shuten Douji takes upon changing her Saint Graph. Although she is not actually trying to conceal this, curiously not many people realize that this is "Shuten Douji".
BOND 2
At first, she merely intended for this to be a disguise・costume, but it seems that her Saint Graph itself ended up changing (albeith temporarily)
ever since she started to travel together with "Haku", a small magic beast that she captured in the outskirts of Chitose.
Although that way of being is almost like that of a superhero, one must not get it wrong.
This is merely her playing the part of something that "admonishes, chastises and kills the oni".

○Heart Break: Dharmapala of Nalanda Oni - Heart Ripper: A+
Heartbreak.
During her Class Change, her Noble Phantams that pulled out the target's bones "Bone Collector (Hyakka Ryouran・Waga Aishou, lit. Riot of Flowers, My Nickname?)" was converted into this skill.
A fearsome special move in which she shoves her hand inside the body of a target that failed a save check and mercilessly crushes his important organs starting from the heart.
The ability of a Dharmapala Girl that was conferred for the sake of commanding the oni... or so she professes to be, "but wouldn't most living things become silent if their hearts are crushed?"
When a Chaldea staff asked her this suspiciously, Shuten Douji supposedly smiled pleasantly without answering anything.

"You know, when we see princesses in that box called TV, they are always carrying some sort of queer, sparkling stick. I want one of those too."

In concrete terms, punching and kicking by means of high-speed movement that some may mistake for teleportation.
Although its range is short, evasion is pretty much impossible. A bashing that can break through even the protection of divinity.
After some hard beating, she launches the same poisoned alcohol employed in the Noble Phantasm "Multitude of Colors - Providential Oni Poison (Senshibankō - Shinpen Ki Doku?)"―――
but as far as Shuten is concerned, that is merely an "extra", something to "brighten things up" and the core of this attack is still the battering.

Deep inside, she is completely the same as her usual self, but―――
She appears to be taking care so not to break the image of a "Dharmapala Girl" that Ibaraki Douji dreams about... or so it seems...?
"Hey, this is almost like kagura dance and unexpectedly fun."
Maybe it would be better to say that she keeps on doing it because it makes her feel pleasant in such a manner.
At any rate, it seems that she intends to spend her time in this outfit until she grows tired of it.
In addition, the true identity of her familiar "Haku" was that of an evil dragon generated from the "Gold of Kamuy"....
The current "Haku" is a familiar shaped exactly like the old Haku that Shuten put together from a portion of her own magical energy.
Although Shuten says that "Haku doesn't talk, see?", there may have been testimonies of it speaking something when nobody was around.
